A Nashua man was arrested Thursday for allegedly harassing and stalking a 17-year-old girl.

According to Hollis police, 30-year-old Jason Hunter of Howard Street was charged with three counts of stalking after the victim told police she was being harassed by an unknown individual via Facebook, text and email.

The harassment allegedly began in December.

Police said Hunter gathered information about the victim’s personal life, including her address, place of work, and friends.

The situation escalated on February 7, when two men arrived at the victim’s home in response to a Craigslist ad soliciting a sexual encounter.

Hunter met the victim through work, and was not in any kind of relationship with her.

He is being held on $5000 cash bail, and a pre-trial conference is scheduled for March 10 in the 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division.
