BOSTON (WHDH) - The first winter storm of the season arrived in New England overnight, bringing a wintry mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain to the region.
And now that the snow has exited the area, the main concern is sleet and freezing rain that could lead to widespread power outages.
A flash freeze is also possible overnight Sunday into Monday as air temperatures plummet, prompting officials to urge drivers to stay off the roads if possible.
