An 18-year-old New Hampshire man is facing charges for allegedly attempting to rob a gun store.

Police arrested Jonathan T. Flynn, 18, of Pelham, on Sunday in connection with an attempted burglary at Merrimack Firearms, police said.

The incident happened on March 5, according to police.

At around midnight on March 5, Merrimack Police responded to an alarm triggered at the gun store on D.W. Highway, police said. Officers discovered the front door had been smashed and found blood at the scene.

Police say security measures stopped the suspect from entering the store.

Flynn is being held on $10,000 cash bail and is scheduled for a probable causing hearing on March 17.

Police say they arrested two other individuals in connection with the incident but they did not identify them.
