A New Mexico father is calling his teenage son his hero after the boy rescued him from a fire in their mobile home.
Billy Bisbee was caught in the family’s mobile home after it caught fire early in the morning. An eye condition left him blind in one eye and he had trouble finding his way out. Bisbee started calling for help and his son, Caleb, ran inside.
Caleb Bisbee grabbed his father and pulled him to safety. While Caleb does not consider himself a hero, Bisbee thinks otherwise.
"Another 15 seconds, I would have been dead," said Bisbee. "I guarantee it. The scariest thing I’ve ever lived in my whole life."
Bisbee suffered severe burns to his back in the fire.
