BOSTON (WHDH) - New surveillance video shows the moment when a car crashed into a busy building on Corinth Street in Roslindale Sunday morning.

The crash brought down part of the building’s façade right on top of the car and the front of the building collapsed moments later.

The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and several businesses, including Sebastian’s Barber Shop and Threading for Beauty, have been forced to close due to severe damage.

Rae Small, manager of The Square Root café, is the person who pulled the driver out of the vehicle without thinking about her own safety.

“It’s a human experience,” Small said. “It feels hard to accept. I am proud of what I’ve done, I don’t think I have the reality of it quite grasped yet.”

A federal environmental group is now working to stabilize the building.
