Yowza——it was actually chilly on the way into work early this morning as temps have found their way into the 40s for many cities & towns and it’s safe to say that fall has arrived. Officially, it gets under way on Wednesday at 4:21 am but for all intents & purposes, fall is here. Early fall though so that means there can be some recovery to our cool mornings, we’ve seen that a couple of times this month and we’ll see it again this week but today I think we’ll hold onto the cool feel all day, especially along the coast thanks to a cool northeast breeze. Jackets & sweaters certainly serve you will early & late in the day and for some of you even during the middle of the day too! By Wednesday & Thursday, we will see a respectable recovery from the early morning chill (near 50) with afternoon temps reaching the mid/upper 70s.
What doesn’t change from recent weeks is the continuation of our dry weather. High Pressure is with us yet again for the entire week so plan on sunshine–at times mixed with clouds–for the week. It would be nice to get a good soaker in these parts but none on the way as High Pressure will essentially remain anchored on the east coast until further notice.
Enjoy!
