BOSTON (WHDH) - The Boston Fire Department responded to a large fire at on Newbury Street Sunday evening.

Officials said the fire began in the back of the first floor of a mixed residential-business building.

The basement and first floor of the building are a restaurant and art gallery.

Occupants were evacuated safely.

The BFD Chief estimated repairs in damages will cost $900,000.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
