CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — The New Hampshire attorney general’s office says human remains found in Grafton were those of a woman who went missing last year.

New Hampshire’s chief medical examiner identified the woman as Trish Haynes, and concluded that her death was a homicide.

Officials began investigating her disappearance last summer. The 26-year-old was last seen in the Grafton and Danbury area in May or June of 2018.

It’s unclear when the body was found. New Hampshire law enforcement officials declined to release details, and said the investigation remains active.
