NASHUA, N.H. (WHDH) — Students at the Charlotte Avenue Elementary School in Nashua, N.H. might have played their last game of tag.

School officials said they are looking into banning the popular playground game because it can be dangerous.

"[Tag] seems innocent enough, however the force with which students ‘tag’ varies greatly… There have been numerous incidents where innocent bystanders have been injured from this type of play," a statement from the school said.

Many people don’t think an all out ban is a good idea.

“I think it’s ridiculous to say the least. It’s just shenanigans. It's just kids running around playing,” one Nashua teen said.
