A Manchester, New Hampshire, mother is facing charges after police said she made a dangerous decision behind the wheel.
Authorities said Susan Sparks drove herself to the hospital on Monday while under the influence of heroin, with her 11-year-old child in the car.
She was released on bail.
Her son is now being taken care of by his grandmother.
