STONEHAM, Mass. (WHDH) — Two brothers who each lost a leg in the Boston Marathon bombings were in Stoneham for a blood drive in honor of the victims.

J.P. and Paul Norden were watching the marathon with friends when they were hit by the second explosion.

They said they came out to try and give back to a community that has shown them so much support in the last few months.

“People are still showing us support every day and this is where we grew up, we were here every day as kids, so it’s nice for us to be able to come down here and show them support,” said J.P. Norden.

The blood drive was held Tuesday at the Boys and Girls Club in Stoneham.
