FOXBORO, MASS. (WHDH) - A North Attleboro man was arrested on Wednesday after allegedly setting up a hidden camera inside a Foxborough business’ bathroom, according to statement from the Foxborough Police Department.
According to police, Anizio Carvalho, 29, was arrested after an employee discovered a cell phone disguised in a box made to look like extra cleaning supplies. Upon reviewing the footage, officers were able to identify Carvalho as the man who placed the phone.
Carvalho was charged with illegally photographing or electronically surveilling partially nude or nude persons and is punishable by up to 2.5 years in a house of corrections.
The name of the establishment was not made available by Foxborough Police. An investigation is underway to identify potential victims.
