ANDOVER, MASS. (WHDH) - A 56-year-old man from North Reading has been flown to the hospital after a car crash off 93 in Andover early Monday morning.
At 2:18 a.m. troopers responded to a single car crash on route 93 southbound just before exit 39B in Andover.
Fire officials said the man crashed into the guardrail on the left side of the highway and was trapped inside the car.
The emergency response shut down both sides of the highway so first responders could extract the man and transport him by helicopter to Boston Medical Center
The condition of the driver is unknown at this time.
