NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (AP) — A custodian charged with spying on and taking photos of girls using the bathroom at a Massachusetts high school has pleaded not guilty.

Michael Kremensky was released on $500 bail after appearing in court Monday to answer to four counts of photographing an unsuspecting nude person.

Northampton Police Chief Jody Kasper says the 22-year-old Kremensky was arrested late week after authorities found what were described by school officials as “unusual structural modifications” in the Northampton High School bathroom. Kasper says several holes were found in the ceiling.

Police inspected all other bathrooms, locker rooms and changing areas in the school and did not find anything suspicious.

Kremensky has worked at the school since August.

His lawyer did not address the charges in court and did not immediately return a call.
