….Even Cold November Rain. Great power ballad by Guns N’ Roses and also the theme of today’s weather. It’s not a powerhouse storm affecting us this time, rather a mediocre storm passing through northern New England today. This storm will sling some patchy rain into our world early this morning and will continue throughout the day. It’s not a heavy rain but you do need the rain gear and make sure that rain gear is warm as temps will struggle to reach 50 for many of us. There will be some wind (10-15 mph) along the coast developing this afternoon but nothing like we saw with our nor’easters in previous weeks. Most towns pick up between .25″ & .50″ of rain from the storm.
Friday offers drier weather but still a lot of clouds as the storm departs for southern Canada. As the storm is departing it will crank up a chilly/blustery wind during the morning & keep that with us for much of the day. Temps will spend the morning near 50 then fall into the mid 40s by afternoon. That wind will make it feel like the 40s the entire day.
As for the weekend, cold High Pressure is on control on Saturday. You’ll have brilliant sunshine but chilly all day with morning temps near 30 & afternoon highs in the 40s. Sunday, the Pats are off (boo) but it looks like a good day for yardwork (yay) with partly sunny skies & temps in the low 50s.
