A fall hazard prompted Nuna Baby Essentials to recall nearly 6,000 high chairs in the US and Canada.

The recall includes eight models of the Nuna “Zaaz” high chair. The arm bar of the chair can bend or detach, allowing a child to fall out.

Nuna Baby Essentials received 50 reports of incidents, six of which included a child falling from the high chair. Four of the incidents resulted in injuries including bruising and a cut on the forehead.

Consumers of the high chair should stop using the product and contact Nuna Baby Essentials to receive a new arm bar for free.
