Officer stops traffic for crossing geese in Everett

EVERETT, MASS. (WHDH) -

A police officer in Everett held up traffic Monday so a family of Canadien geese could safely cross the road.

The officer stopped cars on lower Broadway and guarded the geese as they crossed, proving no task is too small.

“Good job officer Herrera,” police said in a Facebook post.

The family of five was not hurt.
