SOUTHBRIDGE, MASS. (WHDH) - Investigators are heading back to the scene of a large fire that destroyed a home over the weekend.
The flames closed businesses and left more than a dozen people homeless.
Just hours after that fire, a second one broke out, just blocks away.
According to authorities, the first fire was at 13-15 Central Street and 320 Main Street.
Firefighters rescued a man who had been trapped on the second floor and evacuated apartments.
Four businesses suffered some sort of damage.
A firefighter was treated for smoke inhalation.
No one was hurt.
These fires come two years after a serial arsonist plagued the town.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is under investigation.
