METHUEN, MASS. (WHDH) - The Essex District Attorney’s office is investigating a homicide they said does not appear to be a random act of violence.
A 5:45 a.m. Monday, Methuen Police conducted a well-being check at a local residence on Tudor Street.
After making a forced entry, they located an unresponsive adult woman.
She was transported to Holy Family Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
According to police, the victim’s 4-year-old child was found unharmed in the home and was taken to a relative’s home.
No arrests have been made.
An investigation is ongoing.
