BOSTON (WHDH) - Officials are investigating after two cars crashed into a Jamaica Plain bookstore Wednesday.
Video from the scene showed two cars crashing through the front of Papercuts Bookshop on South Street.
Thankfully, the store was not open yet and no injuries were reported.
Jeffrey Ferris who owns the storefront next door said he heard a loud crash and the force of the impact shook the Ferris Wheels Bike Shop building.
“Oh, huge crash, you could feel it, you could hear it. You know something bad had happened,” he said.
The owner of the shop said they hope to reopen by the weekend. The community is now rallying around them saying they will do what it takes to keep this small business running.
No other information was immediately available.
