BOSTON (WHDH) - Officials are investigating after bricks from the outside of a building in South Boston fell into the street Sunday.
No one was hurt when the bricks fell, and officials said the building’s age, recent construction, and cold weather could have led to the partial collapse.
“There was some work on this street, I think on Friday, so you get vibrations and a 100-year-old house, and you have the ice and the water seeping through, so it could be a combination,” said District Fire Chief Kevin Brooks.
