NEW BEDFORD, MASS. (WHDH) - State Police along with Fall River police and the Bristol District Attorney are investigating a homicide in Fall River that happened Monday night.
Around 9:27 pm, police responded to reports of gunfire at 129 Plain Street.
When they arrived they found a man on the landing of the first floor apartment complex.
The victim, Jared Cohen, 29 of Fall River, was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation is ongoing.
