Officials in Maynard are reassuring residents that the water supply is safe despite a higher level of chemicals.
Town leaders released a statement Saturday saying the higher chemical levels are from the normal disinfecting and cleaning process.
Maynard’s water is safe for drinking, cooking and bathing. Officials said no boil water advisory has been issued.
