ASHLAND, MASS. (WHDH) - The Ashland Fire Department is being recognized for helping a little guy in a tight spot.

Members of the town’s fire department, along with animal control, responded to a call of a dog out trapped in debris at an abandoned home on Main Street.

The rescuers were able to pull the dog from the debris.

Video taken of the incident and posted to the department’s Facebook page shows the rescuers freeing the dog, who appeared to be ok.
