An Ohio driver escaped injury last week after his van became stuck on railroad tracks in Brook Park.

Richard Boga had driven around a truck and then onto the railroad tracks that had the crossing gates down and the lights flashing.

The van got its front wheel stuck in the rail and Boga was standing outside of the van when Brook Park police officer Harold Duncan spotted him.

Duncan went onto the tracks and moved Boga to safety, just 20 seconds before the Norfolk Southern train slammed into the van.
