Yet another morning with clouds, showers, drizzle and temps in the 30s. The difference–and its a biggie–is these showers are tied to a warm front that marks the arrival of true spring for New England. It will be a slow process but temps will reach the 50s by later today (even a little humidity too) and once this mild air arrives it will be here for several days.
Your weekend is loaded with sunshine–both days as well as seasonably mild air. Highs tomorrow are in the upper 50s and temps on Sunday afternoon reach the 60s! Each day has a few minor issues. Tomorrow it’s the wind–a little fiesty at times–gusting over 30 mph. On Sunday it will be the lack of wind that will allow a sea breeze to develop keeping coastal cities/towns (including Boston) from reaching 60. All in all, a fantastic weekend for outdoor activities.
Looking into next week, the pattern remains mild & essentially dry with partly to mostly sunny skies on Monday, Tuesday and again Wednesday. Weather out at Fenway for the Home Opener looking stellar with partly sunny skies & temps in the mid 60s.
Congrats New England, you’ve made it through your worst winter you are likely to experience and now our long awaited spring pattern is about to take hold.
