The Martin Richard Foundation is leading a service project in Peabody Square and along Dorchester Avenue.  The Foundation is also holding a family friendly 3 Mile Fun Run.

St. Francis House is partnering with John Hancock to collect sneakers for the many guests they serve.

Boston Marathon survivors and founders of the Gillian Reny Stepping Strong Fund are hosting a blood drive just past the Marathon finish line on Boylston Street.

The Red Cross is also hosting blood drives in remembrance of the Boston Marathon Bombings.

Legacy Place in Dedham hosted a One Boston Day walk to benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank.

The Museum of Science is offering free entry for visitors to reflect in the peace of the Butterfly Garden.

The City of Boston is collecting donations of pre-mixed baby formula, baby wipes, and hand sanitzer for Flint, Michigan.

El Pelon will donate $1 from every burrito sold on One Boston Day to the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition. 

The Pine Street Inn will have a dry cereal drop off from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 444 Harrison Avenue in Boston.
