Unofficially today marks the start of summer. That means sunny & 80s, right?! Well…..yes, eventually we will see some sun today and it will reach the low 80s but there is some work to do this morning. That work is in the form of clouds & sprinkles up until 10-11am. After that, p[partially sunshine takes over for the rest of the day. So when heading out to the parades & ceremonies to honor those that gave their lives for the country have the rain gear for those sprinkles ,brief showers. Parades after 11am should be dry. By afternoon sunshine will warm us into the 80s. Looks great for B-B-Qs, pool parties, golfing or yard work.

Tomorrow it’s back work, school and our cool spring pattern. We will have a backdoor cool front drop into New England mid morning which will send temps from around 65-70 at 10am down into the 50s by afternoon. #Remarkable. This front will also generate clouds & a few sprinkles (even a few t-storms across far western New England).

This front will get stuck across New York & Connecticut on Wednesday which will lead to more clouds as well as showers on/off through the day. Once again, temps will be stuck in the 50s for afternoon highs. Sunshine returns on Thursday but the warmth does not. Daytime highs run below normal yet again with most towns in the mid 60s. Cool but very comfortable for outdoor activities.

Enjoy what’s left of your Holiday Weekend
