State Police are investigating after one person suffered serious injuries in an crash in Westwood Monday night.
According to police, a 2015 Honda CRV was traveling northbound on I-95 in Westwood, north of University Ave., when it was struck from behind by a 2002 Honda Odyssey, which was also traveling northbound at the time.
Both cars struck the steel guardrail before coming to rest on the right side of the road.
The driver of the Odyssey, a 33-year-old Westwood man, reportedly had no pulse at the scene, police said.
A sergeant began CPR until EMS arrived. The man was transported to Norwood Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
A passenger in the Odyssey, a 53-year-old man from Waltham, and the driver of the CRV, a 55-year-old woman from Needham, were transported to Beth Israel Hospital in Needham for treatment of minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation. No charges have been filed at this time.
