The owner of the gun the Tsarnaev brothers used to kill MIT Officer Sean Collier in the days following the Marathon bombing will be sentenced Thursday.
In March, Merhawi Berhe pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm with an obliterated serial number.
A friend of Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev says he received the gun from Berhe and loaned it to Tsarnaev.
Berhe faces up to 16 months in prison.
