BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) — Parts of Vermont are in for some more heavy rain, thunder and lightning and possible flash flooding.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning until Saturday evening for parts of Lamoille, Washington, Chittenden and Addison counties.

The weather service says small creeks and streams could overflow and water could overwhelm culverts and roadside ditches. Forecasters say road washouts are possible, especially on unpaved back roads.
