A special gift from some Patriots players was delivered to a longtime fan.

Members of the team signed a card for a Quincy woman, who is about to celebrate a milestone birthday.

Jean Johnson is about to turn 100. She sent the team a card, hoping they would sign it, and some players did.

Johnson said she first developed a love for football while watching her sons play the game years ago.

But she also said she loves the way the uniforms fit the players, especially Rob Gronkowski.

The card she sent also included a letter from her grandson.

He quoted her, writing:

“I may be near 100 years old, but there’s nothing wrong with these eyes. Have you seen the uniforms they make those boys wear? That Gronk boy in those tight pants? I have to watch."

Johnson turns 100 February 4, three days before the Super Bowl.
