Super Bowl travel

The Patriots are heading to Arizona for the Super Bowl and many fans are hoping to follow them there.

Travel agencies throughout New England are offering special package deals to the Super Bowl. Dan Pranka, of New England Sports Tours in Saugus, said he has been getting many phone calls from Patriots fans wanting to book their trip.

“I’ve had three or four people call today saying they have to go because they feel this could be Tom [Brady]’s last year,” said Pranka.

New England Sports Tours is charging $2,249 for a package that includes a flight and hotel room, but no ticket to the big game. Other packages from travel agencies that include game tickets are going for around $6,500.

JetBlue announced they will add extra flights from Boston to Phoenix to help fans get to the Super Bowl. The number of flights has been increased between Jan. 30 and Feb. 2, the day after the Super Bowl.
