REVERE, MASS. (WHDH) - An elderly pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Revere on Sunday, according to police.

Revere Police said a man in his 70’s was struck by an SUV along Squire and Gore Road around 7 p.m. Sunday night.

Two people were in the SUV and stayed at the site of the crash to speak with police.

Officials said they are not certain what caused the crash but that darkness could have impaired the driver’s visibility.

There is no word on the victim’s injuries or identity.
