A pickup truck struck a pedestrian in Taunton Tuesday night, leaving the victim critically injured.
The man was struck on State Street in Taunton around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday night. Taunton Police say the man was dragged for about two blocks from where he was hit.
Taunton Police added that the man suffered severe injury to his leg, and is labeled in “serious condition” at Rhode Island Hospital.
The truck drove away, and officials are investigating based on descriptions provided from the victim.
