BOURNE, Mass. (AP) — A woman has died in a house fire in Massachusetts.
Police in the town of Bourne say the fire happened Friday afternoon at a house near Monument Beach. They say fire and police officers found the home fully engulfed in flames by the time they arrived.
The woman’s body was found inside the burning house. Her name hasn’t yet been released by authorities.
Firefighters remain at the scene of the fatal blaze and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
