Firefighters were on the scene of a serious crash in Duxbury on Friday.
A car crashed into a telephone pole, almost snapping it in half.
The crash happened on Tremont Street at Cox Corner.
Fire officials said one person was rushed to the hospital.
They have not released the condition of that person.
