A large pig was found outside Pelham High School Tuesday morning while people were heading to the school to vote.
Police said they responded to a report of a loose pig just after 9 a.m. and located the animal on Marsh Road near the high school. The pig, who weighed 600 pounds, had made its way into the school’s parking lot.
Police said the pig had gotten loose from a local farm and they contacted the pig’s owner, who then came to the high school and retrieved the pig.
