BOSTON (WHDH) - A pilot reported a laser beam was pointed into his plane’s cockpit as he took off from Logan Airport Tuesday evening.
The United Airlines pilot said the green laser illuminated the cockpit at around 7:30 p.m. This happened as the plane was flying over Hull.
The plane had just taken off from Logan Airport and was headed to Los Angeles. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
The FAA said this is the ninth laser event reported in Boston this year. Four have happened in recent weeks.
