PLYMOUTH, MASS. (WHDH) - A Plymouth man has been arrested on multiple outstanding warrants following an incident at an MBTA station.

On Thursday, June 16 around 7:15 p.m., MBTA transit police on patrol at the Tufts Medical Center station found a man inhaling an unknown substance from a glass pipe.

Police identified the man Anthony Binsfield, 32 of Plymouth.

Officers approached Binsfield, who gave officers misleading information about his identity.

Officers eventually learned his name and discovered there were several warrants out for his arrest from Dedham District Court for larceny; and  Plymouth District Court for larceny from a building, credit card larceny and larceny over $250.

Binsfield was taken into custody and transported for booking.

During the booking process, Binsfield was found to be in possession of what officers believed to be heroin.

He will also be charged with possession of a controlled substance.
