BOSTON (WHDH) - Massachusetts State Police have asked for the public’s help in looking for eyewitnesses that saw a woman being sexually assaulted at the Breman Street Park in East Boston.

State police are investigating a report of a sexual assault that occurred late Saturday night on Massport property in East Boston.

Police notified state police early Sunday morning after speaking to a woman who reported being assaulted by three men in Bremen Street Park several hours earlier.

The men have not been identified.

The victim was taken to Mass General Hospital for treatment.

Police searched the park and found physical evidence. The police won’t say what the evidence is due to the fact it’s evidence only the woman and her attackers would know.

People in the park are hoping the attack leads to a greater security presence.

State police are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact them at 617-568-7300 or Suffolk County detectives at 617-727-8817.
