STOWE TOWNSHIP, Penn. (WHDH) — A police cruiser chasing a suspect in Pennsylvania was involved in a crash and narrowly missed hitting a group of children.
Police said the cruiser was chasing a stolen vehicle when it was hit by a van, causing it to spin out of control, barely missing the children. The cruiser then hit a parked minivan.
“I’m still shaken up, because you see that in the movies, not in real life,” said witness Candice Sabo.
The police officer, who Sabo said was very shaken up, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. None of the children standing on the sidewalk was hurt.
