A police pursuit in Mesa, Arizona took several unique turns on Thursday.
Police chased a stolen pickup truck through the East Valley.
The driver, 31-year-old Joshua Michael Monigold, was wanted in a March 19 hit-and-run crash in Tucson.
Officials allege he stole the 2008 white Dodge Ram truck that he was seen driving during the chase.
At one point during the pursuit, the suspect got out of his car and physically brawled with a person on a motorcycle while possibly trying to steal the bike.
The chase ended shortly after the altercation when the pick up truck rolled across Interstate 10.
According to officials, the driver was ejected from the vehicle and was taken into custody.
His condition is unknown.
