MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Authorities say one man has been killed and another man critically wounded in a shooting in Manchester.

State Attorney General Joseph A. Foster and Manchester Police Chief David J. Mara said in a release that officers responding to a report of shots fired Sunday afternoon found the dead man outside a house on Lake Avenue and the injured man nearby.

Police have not disclosed the identities of the men. The one who was injured is being treated at Elliot Hospital.

An investigation is continuing. Anyone who was in the area of the Lake Avenue house around 3:50 p.m. is asked to contact Manchester police.
