A woman is behind bars after hitting and killing a man with her car in Worcester.
Theophilos Raptis, 70, was hit around 9 p.m. Wednesday while crossing Shrewsbury Street.
The Raptis was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Worcester police say the driver did stop at the scene, where they spent hours investigating.
Rebecca Brooks, 37, of Whitinsville was allegedly drunk behind the wheel.
She faces multiple charges including motor vehicle homicide, operating under the influence and negligent operation.
She has been held on cash bail.
