CONCORD, MASS. (WHDH) - CONCORD, Mass. (WHDH) — A massive fire tore through a house in Concord after an explosion was reported in the area.
The fire started at a house on College Road Wednesday evening. Firefighters said they got several 911 calls from neighbors reporting that they heard an explosion.
Almost 50 firefighters battled what they’re calling a ‘labor-intensive’ fire.
The cause is under investigation but firefighters said an oil tank for home heating was found outside the house and could be to blame.
No injuries were reported in the fire and firefighters do not believe anyone was in the house when the fire started.
