A body was found in the water near the West 4th Street Bridge in South Boston Saturday, according to Boston Fire Department.
Crews responded to reports of a body in the water shortly after 8:30 a.m.
Fire officials said the body was about 30 feet from the shore.
The body has since been recovered, and police are investigating.
