Worcester police are investigating a double stabbing that occurred early Saturday morning.

According to police, officers received reports of a shooting at a home on Euclid Ave around 12:00 a.m.

When police arrived, they found a group of people trying to assist a 26-year-old man on the front porch of the home.

The man was bleeding heavily from what was later determined to be stab wounds to his stomach.

Police also found a 30-year-old man who was suffering from stab wounds.

Both men were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigations showed there was an altercation between the two men and another group of men at the home.

Officers observed signs of an apparent forced entry to one of the apartments in the house, and found ballistic evidence indicating there were several gunshots fired.

Detectives do not believe this was a random attack, and police said the victims are not cooperating with detectives.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are trying to identify the suspects involved.
