WEBSTER, MASS. (WHDH) - Just after 9 p.m. Saturday, State Police responded to a single-car crash on Route 395 in Webster that resulted in one death.
Preliminary investigation indicates a 2006 Chevrolet HHR was traveling on Route 395 when, for reasons under investigation, the car went off the road and hit a tree in the median.
Police said the adult male driver was pulled from the car by Oxford and Webster fire officials.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
