WHITMAN, MASS. (WHDH) - Police in Massachusetts are investigating a stabbing that sent one person to the hospital with what were described as life-threatening injuries.
The stabbing occurred at a home in Whitman at about 9 p.m. Sunday.
The male victim was located in the yard of the home.
Police say the victim was taken to South Shore Hospital in Weymouth.
Police say a knife with about a 4-inch blade was also found at the scene.
Police detained one person, but it wasn’t immediately clear if that person was considered a suspect.
The victim’s name and age were not made public.
